Validating Fields When Returning To Previous Pages Via The Back Navigation Button

In this guide, we will explain how to automatically log out users after a specified period of inactivity in the app.

1. INITIAL SETUP:

  • Drag and drop an “Inactivity Auto Logout” field onto your form.

2. CONFIGURE THE “NAVIGATION” FIELD:

  • Click the pencil icon of the “Navigation” field.
  • Set up the "Navigation" field for the "Back" button like this:
    • Set the "Button Action" to "Next"
    • Enter the previous page number in the "Go To Page" option

For Example: If you are on page 2, enter "1" in the "Go To Page" option.

3. ENABLE ORGANISATION ATTRIBUTE:

  • Sign in to Formyoula Beta - https://beta.formyoula.com/dashboard
  • Click this link to access the Organisation Attributes helper form: https://beta.formyoula.com/online_v5/68efe75d472d0c001568f237

  • Check the “Enable Inactivity Auto Logout”.

  • Click “Update Attribute” to enable this feature.

4. TEST THE FUNCTIONALITY:

  • Share the form with the user.
  • The user will be automatically logged out of the app after the specified period of inactivity.
