In this guide, we will explain how to switch the Salesforce connections based on case status.
The Field Update Workflow field will update the CheckBox field value based on the case status.
Drag and drop a Salesforce Lookup, a Salesforce Prefill, a Text, a Field Update Workflow, a CheckBox, a TextArea and an Email field.
Rename the Text, CheckBox, TextArea and Email fields as shown below.
Click the pencil icon of the Lookup field. Set Object and Display Additional Fields. Save the changes.
Click the pencil icon of the Salesforce Prefill field. Set Object, Formyoula Parent Field and Salesforce Parent Field as shown below. And map the Case Status form field. It will prefill the case status. Save the changes.
Click the pencil icon of the Field Update Workflow field. Set Rule Criteria as shown below.
Set Field Updates Success and Field Updates Fail as shown below. It will update the CheckBox field value based on case status.
Go to the dashboard. Click the "Add" button under the "Connections" column or press on the "Create a Connection" button under the "Next Step" column or select "Add/ Edit Connections" from the "Actions" list.
Select the connection type from the available list and press "Create Connection".
Select an object and click “Save and Continue”.
Map the Form field to the object field as shown below.
Click Salesforce Record Settings and set values for the highlighted fields as shown below.
Skip if value not provided- It will skip this connection if the value for the selected field is not provided.
Update Based on Lookup- This connection will update the record based on the selected Lookup field.
Create a second connection following the same steps.
Map the Form fields to the object fields as shown below.
Click Salesforce Record Settings and set values for the highlighted fields as shown below.
Skip if value provided- It will skip this connection if the value for the selected field is provided.
Update Based on Lookup- This connection will update the record based on the selected Lookup field.
Save the changes and try the form. It will prefill the CheckBox field based on case status.
And it will skip a connection based on case status.
