Set Salesforce User Object Lookup With Current Logged In User

This guide will explain how to set a Salesforce Lookup for User Object with the current user via Field Update Workflow and the system merge fields.

Drag and drop a Salesforce Lookup and a Field Update Workflow field.

Click the pencil icon of the Salesforce Lookup field. Set the object as “User” and rename the Label as shown below. Save the changes.

Click the pencil icon of the Field Update Workflow field. And update the Salesforce lookup field with the System Merge field “{{Formyoula_User_Salesforce_Id}}”:

Select User ||value || {{Formyoula_User_Salesforce_Id}}

Save the changes.

Try the form. It will update the Salesforce Lookup field with the username of the current user.
