Display Salesforce Chatter Posts On Form

This guide will explain how to display Salesforce Chatter posts on the Formyoula form.

1. Initial Setup:

• Drag and drop a “Salesforce Lookup”, a “Repeat” and a “Text” field (inside Repeat) onto your form.
• Rename the fields as needed.

2. Configuring The “Salesforce Lookup” Field:

• Click the pencil icon of the “Salesforce Lookup” field.
• Set “Object” and “Display Additional Fields” as shown below.

3. Configuring The “Repeat” Field:

• Click the pencil icon of the “Repeat” field.
• Click “Salesforce Pre-Fill”.

• Set “Object”, “Formyoula Parent Field”, Salesforce Parent Field and “Autofill Connection” as shown below.
• Here “Formyoula Parent Field” is the “Lead Lookup” field.
• And “Autofill Connection” is the connection we create in step 4.
• Save the changes.

4. Set Up A Salesforce Connection:

• Click on the "Add" button under the "Connections" column, or press on the "Create a Connection" button under the "Next Step" column, or select "Add/ Edit Connections" from the "Actions" list.

• Select "Salesforce" from the available connections list and click "Create Connection".

• Select the “Feed Item” object and click the ”Save and Continue”.

• Map the “Post Description” form field with the “Body” object field.

5. Test Your Form:

• Search a Lead using the “Find” button.

• It will prefill the Chatter posts.
