Open a URL Link Using a Button On The Form

This guide will explain how to open a URL link by clicking a button on a form.

1. Initial Setup:

• Drag and drop an “Open Link Button” field onto your form.

2. Configuring the “Open Link Button” field:

• Click the pencil icon on the “Open Link Button” field.
• Update the “Button Label” as needed.
• Fill in the website URL in the “Link URL” field.

Optional:

• Open URL links in a separate browser by setting the “Link Target Type” as “System”:

• Customize the button with the “Button Size”, “Button Position”, and “Button Style Type” options.
• Save the changes.

3. Testing:

• Try the form.
• Clicking the button with open the site.

4. Additionally, You Can Use The Merge Field Functionality For The “Link URL” option:

• Drag and drop a “Text” field onto your form.
• Rename the field as needed.

• Use the field ID of the “Text” field in the “Link URL” option as shown below.
• Save the changes.

5. Testing:

• Try the form.

• Fill in a site URL in the “Text” field.
• Clicking the button will open the site.
