Salesforce Prefill Field

In this guide, we will explain how to use Salesforce Pre-fill Field.

Use case of using this element is we want to show fields related to the object selected in the Salesforce lookup or Salesforce select for example suppose we had a form having contact lookup based on contact selected in this lookup we want to pre-fill certain fields like account name to which this contact belongs to or email of the contact etc. Then we can use Salesforce Pre-fill Element.

So what will we do to achieve the above mentioned use case is.

1. Drag and drop lookup or Salesforce select in the form and select object contact and add the fields that we want to prefill based on contact selected in this lookup for example Account Name, First Name, Last Name, and Email.

2. Then Drag and drop the salesforce prefill element and select the Formyoula parent field and Salesforce parent field in our case it will lookup we are using to search contact and contact id respectively.
3. Add the fields in form fields and select object fields.

4. Save and close the form and try the form the result will be.
