This guide will explain how to assign a specific API user to create Salesforce records.
- Update The Salesforce API User ID:
- Go to the Formyoula Users page by clicking the "Users" tab on the Dashboard or use this link- https://app.formyoula.com/users
- Edit the user details under the “Quick Actions” tab as shown below.
- Add the “Salesforce API User ID” under the Advanced settings.
- It will assign the “Salesforce API User ID” for creating Salesforce records.

- Click the "Users" tab on the Dashboard or click this link- https://app.formyoula.com/users
- Export the user's list by clicking “Export Users” under “Actions”.
- Open the file in Excel.
- Here, you can find the “Salesforce API user ID” of the user by whom you want to create records, as shown in the screenshot below
- Save the changes by clicking the “Update User” button.
- Enable The Salesforce API User ID Attributes:
- Please use this helper form link to update the "
use_sfdc_api_user_id
” attribute to your form: https://app.formyoula.com/online_v5/665a4ca046b385001b2a7343
- Select your form.
- Check the checkbox to enable “Use Salesforce API User ID” attribute.
- Click “Update Attributes”.
- Test The Updates:
- Now, when the user creates a record, it will be associated with the Salesforce API User ID.
