This guide will explain how to navigate with multiple options to update a Case object status and close the form.
1. Initial Setup:
- Drag and drop a âSalesforce Lookupâ, a Hidden, a âPopup Field Sectionâ, two âField Update Workflow, and an âAuto Submitâ field.
- Rename the fields as needed.
- Configuring The âSalesforce Lookupâ Field:
- Click the pencil icon of the âSalesforce Lookupâ field.
- Set âCaseâ as âObjectâ.
- Select âDisplay Additional Fieldsâ.
- Configuring The âPopup Field Sectionâ Field:
- Click the pencil icon of the âPopup Field Sectionâ field.
- Update the âPopup Titleâ as needed.
- Select the âPopup Section Fieldsâ.
- Here, we are selecting both âField Update Buttonsâ fields.
- Optional: You can style your Popup button using the options below.

- Configuring The First âField Update Buttonâ Field:
- Click the pencil icon of the first âField Update Buttonâ field.
- Set âField Updatesâ:
âStatus || value || Closedâ
âAuto Submit || event || runâ
- Configuring The Second âField Update Buttonâ Field:
- Click the pencil icon of the second âField Update Buttonâ field.
- Set âField Updatesâ:
âStatus || value || Workingâ
âAuto Submit || event || runâ
- Configuring The âAuto Submitâ Field:
- Click the pencil icon of the âAuto Submitâ field.
- Set âNoneâ as âAction Typeâ.
- Set âSubmitâ as âActionâ.
- Save the changes.
- Form Setup page:
- Click âSetupâ.
- Select the âDisable Standard Navigationâ option.
- Save the changes.
- Establishing A âSalesforceâ Connection:
- Click the "Add" button under the "Connections" column or press on the "Create a Connection" button under the "Next Step" column or select "Add/ Edit Connections" from the "Actions" list.
- Select "Salesforce" from the available connections list and click "Create Connection".
- Select the Salesforce Object and click âSave and Continueâ.
- Map Formyoula âHiddenâ field to the Case object âStatusâ field.
- Click âSalesforce Record Settingsâ.
- Set âRecord Lookupâ under the âUpdate Based On Lookupâ option.
- Save the changes.
- Test The Form:
- Try the form.
- Search for a case.
- Click the âSubmitâ button.
- It will give you two options.
- Click the âSave and Close the Caseâ button.
- It will update the case status as âClosedâ.
- Or click the âSave and Keep the Case Openâ button.
- It will update the case status as âWorkingâ.
