Importing and Attaching Salesforce Files To Email Templates

In this guide, we will explain how to Import and Attach Salesforce files to Email Templates.

  1. Initial Setup:
  • Drag and drop a “Salesforce Select” field onto your form.
  • Rename the field as needed.

  1. Configuring The “Salesforce Select” Field:
  • Click the pencil icon on the “Salesforce Select” field.
  • Set the "Object" option as shown in the screenshot.
  • Rename the “Button Label” as needed.
  • Set “Display Additional Fields”.

  1. Establishing an Email connection:
  • Click the "Add" button under the "Connections" column or press on the "Create a Connection" button under the "Next Step" column or select "Add/ Edit Connections" from the "Actions" list.

  • Select "Email" from the available connections list and click "Create Connection".

  • Fill in the email ID “To Email”.

  • Subject the email as needed.

  • Select the “Salesforce Select” field in the “Salesforce File Attachment Field” option.
  • It will import and attach the Salesforce file to the Email template.
  • Save all the changes.

  1. Test The Form:
  • Select a Salesforce file on the form and submit it.

  • The selected Salesforce file will be imported and attached to the email template.
