In this example guide, we will explain how the Field Update Workflow field works. We will set rule criteria for two fields (Select and CheckBox) and will update another two fields (Text and Number) using the Field Update Workflow Field.
Drag and drop a Select, a CheckBox, a Field Update Workflow, a Text and a Number field as shown below.
Click the pencil icon of the Field Update Workflow field.
Set Rule Criteria for the Select and Checkbox Fields:
Select Field = Select Two
CheckBox Field = 1 (checked)
Set Field Updates for Text and Number fields:
Text Field = test 123
Number Field = true (field should not be blank)
Save the changes.
Additionally, you can set a success message.
Try the form. If you select “Select Two” in the Select field and checked the CheckBox field, the workflow will update the Text and Number fields with Field Updates values:
Text Field = test 123
Number Field = true (field should not be blank)
