In this guide, we will explain how to disable/uncheck the “Allow users to install canvas personal apps” option in Salesforce to resolve the Salesforce Canvas error.
The “Personal Canvas Install Failed” error does not affect Formyoula functionality. You have authorized SFDC connected application to act on your behalf within your organization. SFDC automatically configures personal enabled Canvas applications for you.
Steps to disable/uncheck the “Allow users to install canvas personal apps” option:
Login to your Salesforce Organisation. Go to the Setup.
Search “Connected Apps” in the Quick Find box, then select the “Manage Connected Apps” option.
Click the Edit button.
Uncheck the “Allow users to install canvas personal apps” option, and save the changes.
Disabling/Unchecking this option resolves the Salesforce error “Personal Canvas Install Failed”.
