In this guide, we will explain how to check if a Lead is already created or not based on email using the custom alert messages (Salesforce PreFill Record Found Message/Salesforce PreFill Record Not Found Message).
It will show an Alert on the screen if the Lead is already created or not.
Drag and drop an Email, a Text and a Salesforce PreFill field. Rename the Email and Text fields.
Click the pencil icon on the PreFill field. Select Object, Formyoula Parent Field and Salesforce Parent Field.
Click “Prefill Mapping” and map the Form Fields to Object Fields.
Click “Advanced” and fill in Found and Not found messages. It will enable this option and alert you if the lead is already created or not. Save the changes.
Try the Form. Fill in an Email Id in the Email mail field.
The Found message will show if the lead is already created.
The Not found message will show if the lead is already not created.
