Create a Google Cloud Service Account and Google Drive API Key

This guide will explain how to create a Google Cloud Service Account that allows Formyoula integration with Google Drive.

  1. Please navigate to the Google Cloud console page - https://console.cloud.google.com/
  1. Please create a new Project or select an existing one:

  1. In the search box, please input “Google Drive API” and click on the displayed search result:

  1. Please enable the Google Drive API:

  1. Next, please search for “IAM &Admin” and navigate to the page:

  1. Please create a new Service Account under the “Service Accounts” page:

a. Please add a Service account name:

b. Please add a role by selecting “Basic” and then “Editor”:

c. Please complete the setup:

  1. Please select the newly created Service Account:

  1. Please navigate to the “KEYS” tab:

  1. Please click on the “Add Key” option and select “Create new key”:

  1. Please select “JSON” as the key type and click on “Create”:

The key will be saved as a JSON file on your computer:

  1. Please copy the data from the JSON file and paste it on the PDF Upload Field on your form:

  1. Please locate and copy the client email from the JSON file:

  1. Next, please navigate to your Google Drive and share the folder where you would like to store the PDF files with the copied email address:

  1. Please copy the Google Drive Folder ID from the URL:

  1. Please input the Folder ID on the PDF Upload field on your form:
