Connect Your Forms With Salesforce Objects

We wanted to share a new existing feature that allows you to connect your Formyoula forms to Salesforce objects. Mapping your forms to Salesforce objects takes only a few minutes. And whenever a form is captured on a mobile device or a social network(if have publicly shared your form), the information will be pushed to Salesforce.

Here is a quick video showing how this works in practice. Follow the step-by-step guide below.

We have created a new form called "Expense Claim" that we want to connect to a Salesforce custom object called "Expense Claim".

On our Formyoula dashboard, we will click the add connection link under the connections column or select the options and choose "Add/Edit Connections" for our "Expense Claim" form.

On the connections page, you will have an option to choose between the connection types available to you, select the "Salesforce" option and click "Create Connection".

On the next page, you will be able to select the object you wish to connect your form with. For this example, we are connecting our form with the "Expense Claim" custom object.

After you click "Save" the form will be mapped to the Salesforce object. Now you will need to link the form questions with your object fields.

Now you can start capturing form entries on your mobile device or share your form online. Every time a new entry is created it will be sent to Salesforce and created as a new record so that you can view the record on Salesforce, run reports and add custom business logic.
