In this guide, we explain how to authorize and install the Formyoula Connected App in Salesforce to enable secure data syncing and form integration.
If you are getting this error, please ensure that the Formyoula Connected App is correctly installed in your Salesforce org.
“We can't authorize you because of an Auth error. For more information, contact your Salesforce administrator. OAUTH_APPROVAL_ERROR_GENERIC : An unexpected error has occured during authentication. Please try again.”
2. Authorize Formyoula with Salesforce:
- Open the Formyoula app or the Formyoula web app: https://app.formyoula.com/mobile
- Click the "Sign in with Salesforce" login option.
- User will be redirected to the Salesforce login page. Enter your Salesforce credentials.
- Salesforce will show an authorization screen listing the requested permissions.
- Click "Allow" to grant access.
- You will be redirected back to Formyoula. Formyoula now receives an OAuth token and can call Salesforce APIs on your behalf (for example, syncing records, prefilling forms, or enabling offline record lookups).
3. Install Connected App By Admin User:
- Log in to your Salesforce.
- Click “Setup” under the gear icon.
- Search “Connected App” in the Quick Find box.
- Click “Connected Apps OAuth Usage”.
- Click “Install” to install the connected app.
- Clicking Install will install the connected app.
- Now you can manage the setup of the connected app.
