In this guide, we will explain how to assign record types to the system admin in Salesforce.
Go to the Setup page on your Salesforce.
Search “Profiles” in the quick find box and select “Profiles”.
Click the System Administrator profile.
Scroll down to the Record Type Settings section. You can see Accounts with the edit option in the Custom Record Type Settings. Click the edit button of an Account.
You can Add and Remove record types here. Save the changes.
